SJ Breeding: Irish-bred Loughnatousa WB wins The Hickstead Equestrian.com Derby

Ireland’s Trevor Breen and Patricia Brown’s Irish-bred Loughnatousa WB won The Hickstead Equestrian.com Derby. The Waterford-bred gelding had previously won the class in 2012 with Paul Beecher (IRL) while Trevor Breen had won last years class riding Karen Swann’s Adventure de Kannan. The Irish-bred horses were out in force throughout the CSI4* event recording multiple wins and placings.

Kilkenny-bred Suma’ Zorro and Sameh El Dahan (EGY) saw off a strong field to win the Imperial Challenge Grand Prix at Spruce Meadows CSI4*. The promising young Irish Sport Horse MHS Washington, also bred in Kilkenny, added two further wins to her already impressive tally while competing at Knokke CSI5* in Belgium under Laura Renwick (GBR).
