USA names Nations’ Cup Squad for Hickstead and Dublin

THE United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) has named its squads to represent the U.S. in the Furusiyya Nations Cup competitions at CSIO5* Hickstead on July 30-August 4, and at the CSIO5* Dublin August 6-11.
Horses will be named following the submission of the Definite Entry, and Robert Ridland will serve as Chef d’Equipe for the U.S. team at both Hickstead and Dublin.
CSIO5* Hickstead
The five following athletes will represent the U.S. at the CSIO5* Hickstead:
Reed Kessler (Lexington, KY)
Beezie Madden (Cazenovia, NY)
McLain Ward (Brewster, NY)
Katie Dinan (Wellington, FL)
Richard Spooner (Agua Dulce, CA)
CSIO5* Dublin
The five following athletes will represent the U.S. at the CSIO5* Dublin:
Reed Kessler (Lexington, KY)
Beezie Madden (Cazenovia, NY)
McLain Ward (Brewster, NY)
Katie Dinan (Wellington, FL)
Kent Farrington (Wellington, FL)
Team selection for the CSIO5* Hickstead and CSIO5* Dublin was based on the applicant athlete’s ranking on the June 21, 2013 Rolex/USEF Show Jumping Ranking List. Additionally, the Chef d’Equipe had the discretion to replace up to two athletes who would have otherwise been named to the team due to ranking on the Rolex/USEF Show Jumping Ranking List.
