Competing at the CDI-W show in Devon, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA early this morning (Saturday), Reynolds an Vancouver K (pictured above) produced a superb score of 75.66% to win the Grand Prix. American rider Arlene Page and Woodstock scored 73.36% to finish second, with Canada’s Megan Lane and Caravella in third on 71.98%.

Reynolds had previously set a new Irish international Grand Prix record score of 75.24% in June of this year, when she won the four-star Grand Prix at Achleiten in Austria again riding Vancouver K.

Last week Reynolds won both the Grand Prix and Grand Prix Kür (Freestyle to Music) at the Rolex Central Park show in New York, USA. Reynolds is only the second Irish rider to win two big tour classes at an FEI CDI international dressage show since Anna Merveldt (Flash Dancer) [IRL] won the Grand Prix and the Grand Prix Special at Rotterdam CDIO in August 1993.

In August, Judy and Vancouver K were the first Irish combination in 24 years to qualify for the Olympic final in Rio de Janeiro, where they placed 18th in the final.
