Reaching New Heights Implementation Committee presented with findings of Indecon Report

The Reaching New Heights Implementation Committee were presented with the findings of the Indecon report, in a meeting called by Minster Michael Creed T.D. on Tuesday June 27th in Agriculture House, Dublin.
Horse Sport Ireland (HSI) welcomes the release of the Indecon Report. The report has been keenly anticipated by all sectors of the industry, which has ambitious plans to grow and develop, as set out in our strategy document, Reaching New Heights.
Jim Beecher, interim Chairman of Horse Sport Ireland said “The report is very welcome but poses many challenges for Horse Sport Ireland. It is important that we keep the big picture in mind and work towards implementation in the interest of all our stakeholders.”
The report will be fully reviewed by the board and executive of HSI at their next board meeting on July 18th.
Horse Sport Ireland will work closely with Minister Creed’s department on the implementation of the recommendations.
