Young Breeders Training Day – Kilconnel Stud

The Teagasc and Horse Sport Ireland upcoming Young Breeders training day is taking place on Feb 24th at 1.30pm in Kilconnel Stud.

The Young Breeders training day is a superb opportunity for young people from across the country to join with the Teagasc Equine Specialists and Jack Doyle for an afternoon spent evaluating conformation and athleticism traits of performance sport horses. Kilconnel Stud is home  to Seamus & Maria Hayes. Seamus has been pivotal in the careers of such horses as Carmena Z , Danny Boy , eventer Might Nice, new exciting young horses now competing include Compelling Z , Chipolini Z and Chatterbox Z and Barrichello W.

All young people aged 13-24 years on 1st of Jan 2018 are very welcome to attend.

Up to age 30 is acceptable though those aged  25 years plus on 1/1/18 will NOT be eligible for competition in 2019. If aged > 24 years on 1/1/18 please contact the organiser before booking your place.
