Allen records win on day one of Paris 5 star show

Bertram Allen claimed the 1.50 metre one round speed class today, the opening day of Le Saut Hermes Paris CSI5* show. Allen claimed the win aboard Billy Twomey’s 18 year old stallion Romonov. Opening the three day show with a win, Allen claimed the victory in the €25,000 class. The winning combination were over one second ahead of second place Jeroen Dubbeldam (NED), riding Carusso LS La Silla.

 

Today’s 1.50 metre class was a qualifier for Saturday’s Le Saut Hermes 1.60 metre competition. Allen competes at this weekend’s Paris five star show with today’s winner Romonov and Quantain Studs Quiet Easy 4. The live feed is available here: http://www.sauthermes.com/en/live-broadcast/ .
Earlier today Ireland’s Eoin McMahon and Sally 643 placed 4th in the CSIU25 1.40 metre Two Phase class, while Michael Duffy (IRL) and Felix XXVIII  took 10th place in the same class.
