Changes made to the Horse Sport Ireland Young Horse Squads for Lanaken and Valkenswaard

Chef d’Equipe of the Horse Sport Ireland Young Horse Showjumping Squads for Lanaken and Valkenswaard, Taylor Vard has announced the following changes for his teams competing at the FEI WBFSH World Breeding Jumping Championships for Young Horses in Lanaken, Belgium from September 20th – 24th, and the WBFSH Studbooks Jumping Global Champions Trophy in Valkenswaard, Holland from September 28th – October 1st.

After the close of entries for Lanaken, Horse Sport Ireland were awarded an extra two spaces in the Six-Year-Old division for the Irish Studbooks Team. As a result, the following two horses have been added to the team:

Coolishal (ISH)
2017, Gelding by Presidential Ball (ISH), out of Charlie’s Midnight Mist (ISH) by HHS Br Charlton (ISH).

Rider: Gemma Phelan (IRL).

HHS Ice Flo (ISH)
2017, Mare by Iceman De Muze (BWP) out of HHS Go With The Flo (ISH) by Cyrano 145 (HOLST).
Breeder: Kevin Meagher, Co. Tipperary.
Owner: Bravo Hughes Ltd.
Rider: Mikey Pender (IRL).

Following the withdrawal of Oliver Glancy and Clonterm Obolensky (ISH) from the Seven-Year-Old team in Valkenswaard, Joanne Blair and MCS Leisester (ISH) have been called up to the team.
