Five-star win for Tipperary’s Denis Lynch as Duffy takes fifth

Tipperary’s Denis Lynch last night (Friday) scored an impressive win at the five-star French fixture in Valence, when he came out on top in the 1m50 SFAM speed class with RMF Fairview.
Forty starters went to post with Lynch and the 11-year-old gelding posting a winning time of 58.83 seconds to take the winners prize of almost €9,000. They finished almost two seconds faster than American runner-up Jessica Springsteen with Fleur de l’Aube, while Galway’s Michael Duffy was also in the prizes when finishing fifth with Flawless.
Valence will host its five-star Grand Prix on Sunday.
