Four Irish riders in the top ten in Thursday’s final class at Dublin

Four Irish riders placed in the top ten of the Anglesea Stakes, the final class in the international arena on the second day of Dublin Horse Show. Anthony Condon and Chinook II finished in sixth place, Shane Breen and Market Irminka took seventh, Bertram Allen and Quiet Easy 4 claimed eight and Shane Sweetnam and Buckle Up were ninth. The winner of the class was Lorenza De Luca (ITA) and Halifax Van Het Kluizebos, the rider now having notched up three wins in the international classes so far this week.

In the national classes, Liam O’Meara and Kannon Clover (ISH) were victorious in the second qualifier of the HSI 6 Year Old National Championship in Simmonscourt this afternoon. The HSI 3 Year Old Loose Performance Championship took place in Simmonscourt this evening. The Champion from the filly section was Noel Ruane’s Castle Camiro (ISH), while the Champion from the colt/gelding section was Jackie Lee’s Emerald Courage (ISH).
