Hat-trick for Irish Jumping Stewards as trio appointed to major FEI Championships

Three of Ireland’s top FEI Jumping Stewards have been appointed to oversee three of the most prestigious FEI Championships that will take place this year.

Charles Maudlin has been named Chief Steward for the FEI European Jumping Championships which take place at Reisenbeck in Germany from August 21st to September 5th. Maudlin has also been named Chief Steward for the Longines FEI Jumping Final which takes place in Barcelona, Spain from October 1st to 3rd. Charles has taken up the role of Acting Steward General for Jumping and recently held a productive meeting with IRL FEI Stewards with a view of sharing valuable knowledge and information.

Orla Griffin has been named Chief Steward for the FEI European Pony Jumping Championships which take place at Strzegom in Poland from August 11th to 15th.

Kate Horgan has been named Chief Steward for the FEI European Young Rider, Junior and Children On Horses Jumping championships which take place at Vilamoura in Portugal from July 18th to 25th.

Horse Sport Ireland would like to congratulate these three IRL FEI Stewards on these prestigious appointments and would also encourage anyone interested in becoming an FEI Steward to pursue their goal.
