Horse Sport Ireland Statement

Horse Sport Ireland can confirm that a young athlete was seriously injured in a tragic accident at a training session on Wednesday afternoon (June 16th) in Dublin. The young rider was taken to Crumlin Hospital, where they later passed away. Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the young rider who was a much-loved member of the equestrian community.

The loss of a young person is all always particularly hard to comprehend.  This will be a difficult time for team mates and friends in the sport. Horse Sport Ireland encourages them or their parents to come forward and seek support.
