Irish Endurance Team wins at Barbury

IN ENDURANCE riding, the Irish team won the Home International competition and came second in the accompanying Celtic Challenge competition at Barbury Castle in England last week.

The squad was made up of:

Tasha Anderson on Heathpool Zeno crewed by Faye Headly (80km over two days 40km + 40km)

This was a very close competition, with the top two teams getting all their riders round and the final result decided on placings etc.

The best turned out is based on a combination of marks judged on Turnout and Presentation during the Pre-Ride vetting and for creativity, presentation and national identity during the parade.
