Irish Sport Horse Ballaghmor Class wins Burghley 5* for the second time

Five Irish Sport Horses finish inside the top ten at the 2023 Burghley Horse Trials

No stranger to five-star success Ballaghmor Class had to his tally of five-star victories with an impressive win at Burghley Horse Trials. Ridden by Oliver Townend, this is the third five-star win for the 16-year-old grey gelding and his seventh top five finish at the level. Bred by Noel Hickey from Co Limerick, he is by Courage II (HOLST) and out of the Irish Sport Horse mare Kilderry Place.
