Junior Eventing – Important Dates 2016

Junior European Championships

Montelibretti, Italy. 22^nd – 25^th September 2016

Selection Events

Tattersalls CCIJ* / CCI (U25)** (1-5 June 2016) OR  Hopetoun CCI* (16-19 June 2016)

• MER for any of the above classes must be achieved prior to entry
• International application must be made
• FEI passport required for Hopetoun CCI*

Ballinamona CNC** (17^th  July 2016)

Camphire CICYR** (28-31 July 2016)

• MER for CIC** event must be achieved prior to entry
• International application must be made

Millstreet CICJ* ((25-28 August 2016)

• MER should be achieved by this stage
• International application must be made

Selection

6 squad riders and 2 reserves will be named on Wednesday 31^st August 2016

Junior Training (these may be added to if felt necessary, but sufficient warning will be given)

13^th – 14^th February 2016 – Abbotstown

23^rd – 24^th March 2016 – venue TBC

6^th – 7^th July 2016 – venue TBC

25^th – 26^th July 2016 – venue TBC

8th – 9th August – venue TBC

3^rd – 4^th September 2016 – venue TBC

12^th – 13^th September 2016 – Final Squad Training – 6 squad riders & reserves will be required to attend at Abbotstown.

NB September dates may be subject to change because of school holidays

Horse Travel to Championships

Horses will leave on 15^th or 16^th September 2016

Rider Travel

Riders are the responsibility of Team Manager. Cars will be hired to commute the riders to & from hotel & show grounds with Team Manager and Team Coaches.

Hotel Accommodation

Riders will stay off site for the duration of the Championships in the selected hotel.
