Horse Sport Ireland announce new education and training opportunities with Macra Agricultural Skillnet

Horse Sport Ireland (HSI) is delighted to announce a series of training and educational events in collaboration with Macra Agricultural Skillnet.

Macra na Feirme is a major network serving members involved in farming and agri business. Through the Macra Agricultural Skillnet, they deliver a wide range of subsidised further education and training opportunities to support and drive upskilling and development within the industry.

HSI are collaborating with the Macra Agricultural Skillnet and invite all stakeholders within the equine industry to avail of the education and training events scheduled for the months ahead.

Themes for upcoming events include ‘Effective Communication,’ leadership and management skills with Dr. Nollaig Heffernan, a sustainability and biodiversity yard tour with Godolphin’s Kildangan Stud, social media marketing for the equine industry with Media Marketing Consultant and Trainer Emma D’Arcy as well as a UK and international equine transport webinar scheduled for the Autumn.

The HSI and Macra Agricultural Skillnet collaboration will provide individuals and professionals from all equine backgrounds the opportunity to avail of further education and training opportunities at a reduced cost. Furthermore, Horse Sport Ireland Accredited coaches will be eligible for CPD points upon attendance.

This collaboration will help to facilitate further training and educational opportunities at a reduced cost for all those involved in the industry. The first event scheduled is the ‘Effective Communication’ webinar with independent management consultant, Dr. Nollaig Heffernan. Nollaig regularly delivers thought-provoking and relevant workshops both online and in-person for Macra Agricultural Skillnet.
