HSI Foal Championship Qualifiers at Creagh Equestrian Centre 2022

The fourth leg of the Horse Sport Ireland Foal Championship Qualifiers was held on Monday 19th September in Creagh Equestrian Centre. There were 34 entries to present within the Horse and Pony sections of Eventing & Show Jumping. This initiative is funded by the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine.

The first section to be presented was the Pony Eventing where Fintan Cosgrove’s filly by Rineen Robbie (CP) out of Cullenagh Angel (CP) damsire Callowfeenish Buachaill (CP) was named champion.

Pony Show Jumping was next and the winner was Karen Fox’s colt foal by HSF Lucky Boy (ISH) out of Miss Marple (DR) damsire Maccardo (DR)

The champion in the Horse Eventing section was Andrea Etter and Seamus Sherlocks’ colt foal by Livello (HOLST), out of Monterey B (ISH) damsire O-Piloth (KWPN).

The final section of the day saw Andrea Etter’s colt Andrea Etter’s colt foal by Mr Quincy B (ISH) out of Layla B (ISH) damsire Radolin (KWPN) win the Horse Show Jumping champion.

The Traditional Champion went to Ciaran Quigley’s Rakishi Ri (ID) colt foal out of Easy Lift Gold (ISH) damsire Easy Lift (TB).
