Irish Sport Horses dominate on international eventing circuit

Irish-bred event horses continue to shine both in the UK and USA, read the full list of international results below

Despite the weather impacting eventing in the UK last weekend, Irish Sport Horses still recorded multiple top ten placings across the board. Coirban Sarco Delux (ISH) won the Intermediate Novice at Cirencester Park. Ridden by Rebecca Gibbs, the 10-year-old gelding was bred by Clara Marron and is by Shannondale Sarco St Ghyvan (BEWB), out of Coirban Lady Lux (ISH) by Lux Z (HANN).

Kildare’s Liam Gaffney also bred a winner – Jag Womanizer Lady (ISH), ridden by Beatrice Montgomerie won the Open Novice, Section J, on a score of 24.8. The 8-year-old mare is by Womanizer (KWPN), out of Ballyscully Beauty (ISH) by Silvono (KWPN). Completing the trio of Irish-bred winners was Gentle Lion (ISH), bred by Fiona Sheridan. The 2015 stallion by Chillout (ISH), out of Lion Coco (ISH) by Ard  VDL Douglas (KWPN), won the Novice Section L.
