Irish Sport Horses shine at Pau CCI5* and the Pan-Am Games

It was another excellent weekend for Irish-bred horses on the international eventing circuit 

Three Irish Sport Horses finished inside the top ten in the final CCI5* of 2023. Coolparks Sarco (ISH), ridden by Piggy March, was the highest placed, coming home in fourth place on a score of 36.5. The 11-year-old gelding is by Shannondale Sarco St Ghyvan (BEWB) out of Coolpark Lady Diamond (ISH)[TIH] by Coolcorron Cool Diamond (ISH).

In the CCI3*-L Pan-Am Games taking place in Chile, it was Caroline Pamukcu and the Irish Sport Horse HSH Blake (ISH) who claimed the individual gold medal. The 8-year-old gelding is by Tolan R (KWPN) out of Doughiska Lass (ISH) by Kannan (KWPN). He was bred by Justin Burke.
