Anne Marie Dunphy names team for Pony Dressage Team for FEI European Championship

Dunphy has named her team of three ahead of the upcoming European Championship
Horse Sport Ireland (HSI) Youth Dressage High Performance Manager Anne Marie Dunphy has named the athletes and ponies selected to represent Ireland at the upcoming FEI European Championships for Ponies – Dressage in Le Mans, France 24th – 30th July.
Listed alphabetically, the athletes and ponies selected are as follow.
Laragh Byrne – Steendieks Dali Gold
Lilly Larkin – Blokland’s Hoeve’s Amor
Oscar O Connor – Top Hero 2 or Veenstras Grapjas
Speaking about the announcement Dunphy said:
“I am very happy with the team I have selected for this year’s pony championships.
“All combinations have performed well throughout the selection period with some very impressive results at both national and international level. Oscar and Lilly bring championship experience to the team while Laragh is making her championship debut having campaigned regularly in Europe for the last year.
“I would like to congratulate the athletes on their performances leading to their selection. Thanks to their parents, owners and support teams for their continued commitment to the High-Performance Programme and to GAIN Equine Nutrition for their support of the HSI youth athletes.”
