Horse Sport Ireland Autumn Development Series  – Knockany

Knockany in Northern Ireland hosted the opening Eventing competition of the Horse Sport Ireland Autumn Development Series at the weekend, with three competitions on offer sponsored by Horse Sport Ireland, for horses aged from four to seven-years-old.

Stephen Smith dominated the HSI EI 1.10 6&7 year-old competition when filling the top two places. He took victory with Fredie Fox and runner-up spot with Mike of Mourne while Clare Abbott finished third with Mr Mighty.

The HSI EI100 5-year-old competition saw Colin Halliday and GHS Calexico come out on top ahead of David O’Connor and Glenvine Codename R in second and Clare Abbott with Arthalent in third.

The HSI EI90 for 4-year-olds was won by Suzanne Hagan with Loughview Commander ahead of Rory Lavery and Metalli in second while third place went to Holly McGahan and Landro Pearl.

The next Eventing competition in the HSI Autumn Development series takes place at Scarteen tomorrow Tuesday September 22nd.
