HSI announce Show Jumping Autumn Development Series dates for 2023

Horse Sport Ireland, in conjunction with the Department for Agriculture, Food and the Marine, are delighted to launch the dates and venues for the 2023 Show Jumping Autumn Development Series.

This year, the Autumn Development Series will run as five standalone legs with prizemoney available across the 4-Year-Olds, 5-Year-Olds and 6-&7-Year-Olds age classes for competitors, as well as breeders prizes.

In 2023, there will be three standalone legs of the Autumn Development Series for ponies, in JAG, Wexford EC, and Coilog will feature pony-only classes for 5- and 6-&7-Year-Old ponies.

The Autumn Development Series is open to all horses that are, registered in a studbook with a specific breed documented within their studbook passport. This can include main section studbook equines OR supplementary section studbook equines.

Ponies must be registered in a studbook with a breed documented within their studbook passport.  This can include main section studbook equines OR supplementary section studbook equines in order to be eligible to compete and receive prizemoney.

Horses and ponies with Identity Documents are not eligible to compete or to receive prize money.

Breeder’s prizes will only be paid to breeders residing on the island of Ireland.

September 24^th: Connaught Championships, Galway EC, Co. Galway.
October 1st: The Meadows EC, Lurgan, Co. Armagh.
October 6^th: Warrington Top-Flight Equestrian Centre, Co. Kilkenny.
October 22^nd: Maryville Stables, Carrigaline, Co. Cork.
October 30^th: Killossery Lodge, Swords, Co. Dublin.

The dates and venues for ponies are:
September 30^th: JAG Equestrian, Naas, Co. Kildare.
October 21^st: Wexford EC, Tomhaggard, Co. Wexford.
November 1^st: Coilog Equestrian, Kilmeague, Co. Kildare.
